Springfield is the birthplace of Route 66. Every August, we are reminded of that when we see cool cars and people flood our town to celebrate. This year's festival boasts a wide array of activities for everyone to enjoy. From car shows and raffle (you could win a 1932 Ford Coupe), to a vendor village, live music, a parade, and even a Charity bike show. Mountain Grove Heritage F Estival

Mountain Grove Heritage Festival, August 12-13th

Mountain Grove City Square 114 N. Union St., Mountain Grove, MO 65711

The theme of the festival is Trains, Planes, and Antique Motorcycles that showcase transportation 1800's to 1900's. Enjoy model trains, railroad history, antique motorcycles and a quilt show. Food, fun, and over 200 vendors will be on site for your enjoyment. There is also a free concert on August 12th featuring Branson's Liverpool Legends. If you have a train, car or motorcycle enthusiast in your family, this will surely be a fun outing for them. Friday 12pm - 8pm, Saturday 8am - 5pm.

The VFW is hosting a Friday Karaoke night. What a fun opportunity to belt out your favorite tunes. Doors open at 4pm, food starts at 5pm, and karaoke starts at 7pm. The event is open to the public but attendees must be 18 years or older.
