Coral Reef Week

Where: Wonders of Wildlife, 500 W Sunshine St, Springfield, MO

When: Friday, July 10th 9 AM - 7 PM

"Join us as we celebrate Coral Reef Week! We will be offering daily complimentary activities throughout our attraction as well as select paid activities that can be booked on our website. We hope to see you this week!

7/9: Sea Star Dissection 3-5pm
Although they are commonly called starfish, these animals aren't fish, which is why they are more commonly referred to as sea stars. Sea stars belong to the group of animals called echinoderms and are related to sea urchins, sand dollar, and sea cucumbers. During this dissection, you will look at the external and internal anatomy of a sea star. These Lab EdVentrues are designed for parents and children to spend time together learning and discovering. Participants must be at least 8 years old and be accompanied by an adult. Reservations are required and seating is limited.
Cost: $30 for non-members and $27 for members."

Tubing at Hootentown

Where: Hootentown Canoe Rental & Campground, 1254 Hooten Town Rd, Crane, MO 65633

When: July 11th, From 8 AM - 8 PM

"Come floating with us! Meet at SRCC at 8A. Tubes are provided or you can bring your own! Pricing includes food, transpo and tubes. Don't miss this!!!!!"

Classic Rock Coffee Downtown and The Bonsai Guy Date Night

Where: Classic Rock Coffee Downtown

When: Friday, July 10th from 6:30 PM - 9 PM

Cost: $75 per couple

"Tired of trying to come up with cool new date ideas?? Love to learn and share great experiences with your partner?? Classic Rock Coffee Downtown and The Bonsai Guy have the solution for you. Join us for an awesome class to learn about Bonsai and work on a tree together. After all of your hard work, you will come over to Classic Rock Coffee for a great drink and treat. You will have exclusive access to Classic Rock Coffee after hours as we will be closed to the public for the last hour of this event.

*you will receive a Japanese garden Juniper, Bonsai Pot, soil, wire, tree, instructions, the jokes are free 😂
* a latte, tea or specialty drink and treat of your choice at Classic Rock Coffee Downtown

Date Night Wheel Throwing

Where: Creava Studio,1637 E Saint Louis St, Springfield, MO

When: Friday, July 10th at 5 PM - 7 PM

Cost: $60 dollars per couple

"Are you looking for a fun and unique date night experience? Have you ever wanted to try throwing a pot on the wheel, or see if you can still center a lump of clay or just want to play in the mud with the one you love...come enjoy a 2-hour adventure. You will each get a piece fired and glazed to save as a keepsake of your date.

We regularly have Date Night Wheel Throwing so be sure you select the date that works best for you. Classes can accommodate up to 2 couples. If you want your date night to be private you will need to call the studio to set aside a night."

WALDOPALOOZA
