Wesley Secrest

Wesley: A man of many interests. Wesley loves spending time with his 4 children, 4 dogs, and 16 cats (might not all be his but love hanging out at his house). Is looking forward to the next 5-10 years being able to check things off his bucket list. His father was a superintendent for a metal stud and drywall company in Cali, he was hooked on design after seeing the plans he would bring home. He loves many movie that stars Tom Hanks or directed by Steven Spielberg.

More About Wesley

Wesley started his Architectural career in 1986 in the Newport Beach California area producing Custom Homes documents for Doctors and Celebrities and developers of 55+ Apartments.Wesley moved to Springfield Missouri in 1994 where he started working on Healthcare and Educational facilities, working closely with hospital administration, doctors and staff throughout design development and construction administration of multimillion dollar projects he gained a vast amount of experience. In 1996 Wesley picked up additional experience being captain of construction documentation and team member of CADD standards committee and producing documents for Bass Pro & Embassy Suites. Returning to Healthcare projects Wesley continued work on CoxHealth Hulston Cancer Center, Wheeler Heart and Vascular, Martin Center for Diagnostic Imaging & Walnut Lawn Orthopedic Hospital.Later Wesley worked independently as Wesley Design LLC and contracted work with firms in the Springfield area including CoxHealth. Wesley then Joined CoxHealth in 2003 and manage and design projects for the CoxHealth System including Monett Dialysis Clinic, Labor and Delivery, Respiratory Therapy Department, Design, and planning of schools of nursing facilities and many Cath Lab & Radiology Dept. remodels. In 2007 Wesley Worked on projects at Lake Regional Hospital, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare, Texas County Hospital & Taney County Court House & Jail. Then in 2009 worked on CMH Dallas County Family Medical Center and Bolivar Technical College School of Nursing. In 2012 Wesley did work on Jordan Valley Medical Clinics, Mercy Clinic in Branson & Rolla, CoxHealth Design and planning of school of nursing, Wesley picked up some sales & management experience at as a Project Manager helping BassPro expand their brand all over the USA & Canada producing custom fabricated materials to new construction projects as well as support stores with maintenance requests.

After Covid Wesley moved on to Construction Management where he helped the owner with customer service, supporting company image, marketing the clients, and selling the brand, take off bidding documents, coordination of construction documentation.

Wesley Likes to Travel the USA hiking and enjoying the wilderness, he looks forward to traveling overseas and hiking and seeing some of the wilderness offered outside the USA. He enjoys spending time with his family playing games and enjoying his home. He tries to get out and about as much as possible, when he is not working in the yard, he is running errands with his wife, who is constantly on the go. Wesley looks forward to getting his yard in order to start working on his bucket list and enjoying life.
