What's Happening This Week?

Veron

Red, White and BOOM

Where: 501 N Main St, Mt Vernon, MO

When: Friday, July 2nd @ 6 PM

"Community Traditions is our theme for the 19th year of Red, White and BOOM. The festivities will be on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Spirit of 76 Park. Once again we are diligently planning another wonderful old-fashioned "neighbor-meeting-neighbor celebration.
Red, White & BOOM is a well-attended Mt. Vernon tradition, which is completely free. The Red, White & BOOM Planning Committee along with our volunteers are working hard to make this year an even more spectacular celebration of our nation’s freedom and independence! We have already put together a great line up of entertainment and activities in the park. Of course, we are planning an even bigger and better fireworks display with our longtime friends at A&M Pyrotechnic, to make this year one of the best small town displays in the area!We recognize how hard it is for businesses to give to events such as this, however, it is only with the help of businesses such as yours and other members of the community, that Red, White and BOOM can continue to be Mt. Vernon’s best free community event. This event is solely funded by generous community donations."
